“Resolution 2012. Apartment. Wedding. 小龙女.” - A tweet from the start of the year.

Apartment - We went to a couple of new launches but nothing grabbed our attention so far. What we realised is, buying a property for investment is a completely different ballgame than buying a property to live in. I need to start educating myself at least. Fortunately, I have a couple of good friends who have bought properties for investment, shall see how they fare and get some tips!

Wedding - We booked Raffles Hotel (my favourite) earlier this year to hold our traditional Chinese wedding. To be honest, I am not very keen on hosting a traditional wedding, the more weddings I attend, the more I hated the whole idea. Also, I knew this resolution could clash with the third…and that’s what happened. I’m happily delaying this until further notice.

小龙女 - Basically, this means a little dragon girl. Someone informed me that it’s an informal term for Mistress from China, completely shattered my attempt at romanticising pregnancy. But guess what, this is the only resolution with some progress, because I’m carrying a baby!

And suddenly, none of the resolutions matter any more. :)
